Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law... I've been tattooing for 14 years this past Feb. and got my start in the Boston Underground. I was lucky enough to land an apprenticeship with an old friend and later on, a gig at Cliff's Tattoo on Long Island where I got to work alongside a crew of truly dedicated and talented folks, in 1995 and 1999. With tattoo legalization in 2000ev, I returned home to MA. and in 2003ev, I was fortunate enough to be invited to join the crew at Lightwave Tattoo. I haven't really looked back since....and consider inside the violet and yellow walls my "home away from home". I'm no superstar, but I **AM** a magician....No, I don't pull rabbits out of my ass....my job is alchemy through tattooing - TRULY MAGICK. I am charged with the duty of translating people's ideas and thoughforms (i.e. base metal) into images that they have consciously chosen to adorn their bodies with...and then, through my tools of metal, pigment and electricity....I become a tool for the spirits and the universe and adorn flesh in accordance with Will (i.e. gold). To me, tattooing isn't just about fame and fortune, it's about revealing one's soul a little at a time...it's about channeling and moving with a certain current of energy, recognizing that my job as a tattoo artist goes beyond this realm and far into many others and it's about metamorphosis and transformation - on many levels of being - soul-ar, spiritual and material / mundane. Healing, closure, reclaiming, rebirthing, resurrecting, growing, learning, expanding consciousness...these are some words my clients and I have used to describe what we do as a team through the process. I'm up for the challenge the universe offers....all I need is for you, the client, to present it. I enjoy doing work in both colour and black and grey....I don't like to limit myself in any medium in which I work, that includes "regular" art and much of that is done in everything from gouache and acrylics to ink and pastels. If you've been to Salem, MA, guaranteed you've seen or experienced my work...I've designed a tourist attraction and composed their script (The Salem Witch Village), I have created and led a live production ("Within the Witching Hour") and done much artwork adorning the city (art in shoppes like Nu Aeon and The Broom Closet). My favourite tattoos have meaning - deep meaning - mystical, spiritual, fantasical, sensuous, dark, magickal, ancient, ancestral....things you may see in grimoires or old tomes etched by conjurors or mystics....visions one has when traversing planes of consciousness...and glimpses of otherworldly entities from faeries to greenmen, warriors to wizards, demons and succubi to angels and deities from all cultures. If these are the things that sing to your soul...I am your tool to manifest them. I also specialize in Celtic knotwork, having an extensive background in Celtic mythology and folklore....I have a vast collection of it and love the opportunity to do Celtic art inspired pieces anytime I can. The more you have to teach me, the more I learn.... My inspirations have been (besides the many fantastic folks I have worked with) Guy Aitchison, Korie Wilson, Kore Flatmo, Mike McCabe, Don Ed Hardy, Nick Baxter and more recently, Mike Cole.... Oh yeah...and those dorks in the band Tool. Love is the law, love under Will.

Gina is fascinated with the lore, legend and magick of the Celtic Goddess Brighid. She wanted a tattoo of Her and a dream I had prompted this image to come forth from me. The fires of inspiration the healing waters from the well....her face radiant and colourful, a crescent atop her brow...she is the lady of Imbolc the newborn fires of life and light and love. "Is tu gleus na Mnatha Sithe, Is tu beus na Bride bithe, Is tu creud na Moire mine, Is tu gniomh na mnatha Greuig, Is tu sgeimh na h'Eimir aluinn, Is tu mein na Dearshul agha, Is tu meann na Meabha laidir, Is tu taladh Binne-bheul." Translation: "Thine is the skill of the Fairy Woman, And the virtue of St. Brigit, And the faith of Mary the Mild, And the gracious ways of the Greek woman, And the beauty of lovely Emir, And the tenderness of heartsweet Deirdre, And the courage of Maev the great Queen*, And the charm of Mouth O' Music."
