Born in the incredibly small town of Kent ,Ct. Andy had used art mostly as a means of occupying time during his childhood. Constantly being surrounded by painting and other forms of art by his family, he was given an early chance to explore art, and that jump-start is probably 90% responsible for getting him where he is today. During school, he spent more time drawing on the backs of tests than taking them. High-school became an opportunity to take as many art courses as possible. Here he built up his portfolio, and headed off to art-school.
In May of 2003, Andy was given the opportunity to draw and make stencils for a small street shop back in Connecticut, and his in into the tattoo world. When September came around, returning to school hadn't even become an option. While here he learned to be versatile in all aspects of tattooing, from traditional to black and grey to color realism. After a short time Andy left this shop for the opportunity to do larger custom pieces and work more on his painting and other forms of art. Today he can be found at Off The Map Tattoo in East Hampton Ma, doing what he loves best.
