Born and raised in the city best known for it's brutal snowy winters, and lush hot summers, Eva Huber is relocating to Easthampton MA from Buffalo NY after twenty four years. After her initial tattoo apprenticeship ended in a traditional 'Flash' shop, she dove straight into the realm of 'Custom Tattooing'. "Re-learning how to draw specifically FOR a tattoo was and continues to be one of the greater challenges about this trade. The technical application is more so strict fact, trial, and error, also a greater challenge, but also actually really very enjoyable to learn about. All of this information passed on to you from others who have learned from others, it really is something else" I have been drawing my entire life, I would draw on other kids at school, along with my clothes, papers, notebooks, and walls at home. I've been fortunate enough to have worked with those that I have, picking up and learning little tips and tricks to help me get better along the way. Criticism along with patience has really been the best teacher. I hope to keep doing what I do now only on a larger scale and with even more artistic trust from each and every client. I want to make something unique, well executed and one of a kind for each and every person who gives me the privilege to permanently adorn them. Thank you.

This piece was done at the Boston Tattoo Convention this past September. This was my first time attending the show and have to say it was a good time! Lots of attendants and great tattooers. The stencil for this pretty much rubbed off after the first 5 minutes in, so that made for an interesting challenge. This client found me by searching through TattooNow.com. I haven't done many tattoos like this, and I see a few other artists who successfully blend out the edges of a detailed piece. I think it makes for a good contrast and also allows easier access for future add on work around the tattoo. The tiny little skin tears around the portrait add a little more of an aggressive feel to the already nasty looking wolf. I'd like to do more of this style.
